A guided tree walk around the Cemetery: 16th May

The trees in and around Sidmouth Cemetery are looking magnificent.

Ed Dolphin, of the Arboretum, has sent in some beautiful photos he took this time four years ago, including:

Trees in leaf and in flower around the Cemetery – Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries

Ed is offering the Cherishing Sidmouth’s Cemeteries a guided tree walk of the Cemetery on Thursday 16th May. He will start at 9.30am, beginning up towards the chapel – and will take participants around for about an hour, looking at the variety of native and exotic specimens.

And once he’s completed his round, the working party volunteers can continue on their Thursday morning tasks!

The walk is open to anyone: please do just turn up if you’d like to join what should be a fascinating hour with Ed.
