Tomorrow, Saturday 13th at 11am, the Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries meets up a the main cemetery.

All members of the public are invited!

Public meeting @ Sidmouth Cemetery: 13th January – Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries

The session will start just below the chapel and will begin with a quick introduction to the project before asking attendees to give their voice and opinions, all of which will be noted.

There will then be an opportunity to look through and comment on the council’s management plan:

And, weather permitting, we hope to have a short tour around the different sections of the cemetery.

Finally, attendees can sign up for the mailing list – to keep in the loop and get the latest.

All of this will feed into the next stages:

There will be a further meeting with council officers and councillors at the cemetery very shortly – and the feedback from this public meeting will be crucial.

Plus, the group hopes to start up its working party of volunteers very soon – perhaps on the morning of Thursday 25th January – to be confirmed.

So, do turn up tomorrow at 11am if you can!
