“We are definitely generating interest from people wanting to help!” says Amanda O’Carroll, Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries steering group member and working party volunteer.
Below is a photo she took this morning of a very full dumpy bag, filled by volunteers – but first, a couple of views of the higher part of Sidmouth Cemetery, or the newer and better maintained section of the site.
As well as the green grass of the lawns, the magnificent trees and the backdrop of hills and sky make this a wonderful place.
Let’s hope we can make it into an even more wonderful place – and there certainly does seem to be that interest from people wanting to do that!
