Earlier this week, the Town Council Environment Cttee met on Monday 8th December to consider several reports from the Sid Valley’s various volunteer groups – to hear about any issues the committee might be able to help with and to offer any practical ways forward.
The Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries report to the committee was also discussed – focussing on issues arising out of the EDDC Management Plan 2021-25 for Sidmouth Cemetery and the Sidmouth Cemetery Plan 2024.
As the minutes of the meeting show, councillors agreed to the following:
The Chair of Council confirmed there would be a meeting with East Devon officers in February to discuss how to progress the project and an acceptable way forward for all parties. The Committee would be updated in March.
